Ready to Help?

The Pawnee County Humane Society always looking for items for our animals, volunteers and monitary donations. Here's how you can help!

Items for our animals: We are always needing food, cat litter, snacks, collars, leashes, toys, bowls, etc. For a more complete listing of what we're looking for, check our our wish list.

Volunteers: We want you! We are always needing people to help us out. Here's a small bit of what we need help with:

• Help with events: Pawnee County Fair, Orschlen's Adoption Fairs, parades, etc.
• Feral Cat Colony Caregivers: As part of our Feral Cat program, we are still needing people willing to feed and provide a bit of shelter to our feral cat colonies so that we can continue to trap, neuter, and release them.
• Transports: We often transport animals to rescue groups in Colorado. We need people to take animals up to Hays to meet the transports. We'll pay your gas!
• Foster Homes: We will continue to have our foster home system after our building is up and we're always in need of more foster homes. Click here to download the form for the State of Kansas and get it to a board member (Requires Adobe Reader). They are due by the end of June!

Monitary Donations: Unfortunately we're always needing funds to help with animal care and supplies. Your donations are tax-deductible as the PCHS is a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization. You can mail your donations in to our address:

We are also looking to fill our shelter with supplies. We've partnered with Kuranda to help us stock our building with pet beds. If you want to donate a bed to us, they will sell it to you at cost and ship it straight to us! Use the image below to get started:

Our dogs love to sleep on Kuranda Dog beds, but we don't have enough for everyone. If you would like to donate a bed at a special wholesale price for a another dog to sleep in comfort, please donate a Kuranda dog bed
